SALT LAKE CITY – A driver is in the hospital after crashing through a fence and into a building.
Officers were called to the wreck at 400 S. Redwood Rd. just before 1 a.m.
Police found the car smashed into a concrete building and the fence destroyed.
Authorities said the airbags went off but the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver’s identity has not been confirmed at this time.
Officers said they believe alcohol may be involved.
