SALT LAKE CITY -- Utahns may have begun receiving robocalls related to the recent spat between Mitt Romney and Donald Trump over the Republican nomination in 2016, and a self-described "white nationalist" says his organization is paying for those calls.

Romney was in Salt Lake City Thursday, where he gave a speech encouraging Republicans to work together to defeat Trump, whom he called a "phony" and a "fraud." Trump responded, saying Romney, "would have dropped to his knees" for Trump's endorsement in 2012.

William Johnson of the American National Super PAC sent FOX 13 News a recording and a transcript of the robocall, which he said would be going out to Utahns Friday and Saturday.

Johnson describes himself as a "farmer and a white nationalist" who believes "the white race is being replaced by other people in America and in all white countries" and that "Donald Trump stands strong as a nationalist."

The call blasts Romney and "establishment conservatives" for being "mean spirited and dishonest."

Johnson, who lives in Los Angeles but who graduated from Brigham Young University, said he chose Utah because of Romney's recent remarks. He said most responses to the call from Utahns have been unfavorable, but he said they did receive some positive feedback from those upset with Romney.

The full transcript as provided by Johnson is below, and the audio is embedded in the video player above.

"The American National Super PAC makes this call in support of Donald Trump. My name is William Johnson. I am a farmer and a white nationalist.

This robocall goes out to all millennials and others who are honest in all their dealings. Mitt Romney has viciously attacked Donald Trump. Mitt Romney and his establishment conservatives are both mean spirited and dishonest.

The white race is being replaced by other peoples in America and in all white countries. Donald Trump stands strong as a nationalist. Mitt Romney and his establishment conservatives pretend they don't care.

Mitt Romney and his mean-spirited, establishment conservatives protect big moneyed interests where captains of industry reap billions in profits while the working man struggles to make ends meet in a rented apartment. Donald Trump is a populist. He cares about the working man. Vote Trump. Telephone: (213) 718-3908."
