Calif. — A sheepdog in California has reportedly given birth to the largest litter ever recorded for her breed: 17 puppies.
See the video above for more details on the Mareema sheepdog and her adorable litter. All of the puppies will wind up at other farms, where they will help look after livestock.
The 17 puppies amount to more than mom can feed comfortably, so folks at the farm have been helping out by feeding some of the puppies using bottles. Mom is already reportedly back at work in the fields.
