Gary and Odille Kinross from Spuds showed us how to create specialty baked potato bar. They created their food truck from an old school bus and serve deluxe baked potato's with fun names like Miss Piggy's revenge and Bacon Bandit. Today they shared their recipe for their creamy mushroom sauce.
Burley Brandy Sauce Recipe:
Begin by sauteing bacon in a frying pan. Add your desired amount of mushrooms and keep it sizzling on high heat. The next step involves pouring brandy into the pan. Do not pour alcohol straight from bottle due to obvious safety hazards, instead, have it pre-measured and use a measuring cup. Wait until alcohol burns out and add green peppercorns. Turn down to lower heat and add 1 cup of heavy cream.
