Riders form procession in Kaysville for man killed in motorcycle crash

Posted

KAYSVILLE, Utah – A Kaysville man who was killed in a motorcycle accident got a special send off Friday.

Tim Wangsgaard was killed last week in a crash in Layton, and his family took to Facebook to ask for a motorcycle escort from the church the family attends to the cemetery where their loved one was laid to rest.

Several riders turned out to honor that request, and the man’s family said the support they’ve received this past week has been very touching.

“So today has just been a great day, this past week has been amazing to see the love and the outpouring that the community has had towards Tim,” said Paul Johnson, Wangsgaard’s cousin. “He spent his whole life in the service of other people, and he had a big heart.”

Wangsgaard was 45 years old.
