Fitness Flashback: workouts that stood the test of time

Fitness expert Denise Druce takes us down 35 years of memory lane in the fitness industry. As someone who has seen and tried it all, she has a couple of timeless tips for exercise:

  1. If you find something you love doing, you will have a better chance of sticking with it. With so many options, we should all be able to find something we love!
  2. Cross training is the best way to avoid injury and get results. Surprise your body by mixing it up. Do something different every day of the week.
  3. Bottom line…our bodies love and need to move. One hour a day of good sweaty fun. Walk, run, swim, lift, jump, ride, stretch. Just commit one hour a day to your health, vitality and longevity.
