A beauty blogger named Brittany Foley posted a video on Instagram doing her makeup with a spoon. Her Instagram post quickly led to a full YouTube tutorial of how to use a plastic spoon to create a perfect line in your eye shadow. Foley calls the technique the "spoon cut crease."
She begins by applying a dark color eye shadow with a thin brush right on the edge of the spoon. Then removing the spoon, apply a much lighter color of eye shadow going below the darker color while staying in the lines.
