KATY, Texas - A retired Marine's kind gesture is going viral after he surprised a disabled Vietnam vet.

An unidentified U.S. Army vet from Katy, Texas, posted this picture on reddit of a note and a crinkled $10 bill.

The note reads, "Lunch is on me, soldier. Thank you for your dedicated service. From a retired Marine chopper pilot."

The vet wrote, "I guess my Purple Heart plates gave it away. Found this under my wiper blades. Thanks for lunch, wherever you are.”
