FORT COLLINS, Colo. - A newly married Colorado couple got quite a scare shortly after tying the knot.
The bride and groom, Johnny and Laura Benson, were taking photos at Horsetooth Reservoir when a rattlesnake bit the groom's ankle.
The couple flagged down a park ranger, who took them to the hospital.
Fortunately, there was no venom and no swelling.
In the end, the newlyweds arrived only one hour late to their reception.
