We caught up with the local pyro crew from Lantis Fireworks & Lasers as they were preping a fireworks display at Smiths Ballpark to see what goes into putting on a professional fireworks show. Jeff Ott Territory Managers for the company estimates that between the 1st and the 5th of July Lantis will have between 15-20 shows across the Wasatch Front. Ott said that for every 9 minutes of the display it will take a crew 5 hours to set up. Hundreds of shells go into these display and each pyro treats the show as a work of art, meaning you will never see the same show twice. You can catch there next show at Smiths Ball Park on July 22nd and 23rd.
