FOX 13 News' Danica Lawrence was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 13 years old. She's vigilant about taking care of herself because she knows her future depends on it.
Since her arrival to Utah, she's become involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This morning, JDRF hosted its One Walk at Liberty Park, 600 E. 900 South, to raise funds for research.
Danica and the FOX 13 team were there in the rain to support the cause and raise funds.
