1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon maple extract
Combine butter, maple syrup & in a small saucepan on medium heat.
Heat until butter melts, stir occasionally with wire wisk.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar.
Wisk until smooth and then set to cool and thicken.
Use as a drizzle on your favorite treats this fall.
