DAMMERON VALLEY, Utah -- Heavy rains pounded the Dammeron Valley in southern Utah Thursday.

That's a small town in remote Washington County northwest of Gunlock.
18 homes were flooded according to Jimi Keston, a public information officer in Washington County.
No one was injured, and no one was forced to seek emergency shelter, Keston said.
