SOUTH DAVIS COUNTY, Utah — A motorcyclist is in critical condition after troopers say he was going too fast to negotiate the turn on an I-215 on-ramp.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on the Redwood Road on-ramp to I-215 eastbound.

A 23-year-old man was riding a motorcycle with no helmet when he crashed “after going way too fast to negotiate the curve of the on-ramp,” UHP said.

A day after the crash, Sergeant Nick Street with UHP said the driver of the motorcycle is still in critical condition.

Additional updates will be posted as they become available.
