FOX 13 Dream Team sweetens a Pleasant Grove woman's day after she bought a lemon

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — For the last couple years, the FOX 13 Dream Team has been touching the lives of people all over Utah.

We love hearing about those who’ve made a difference in your life, sharing their stories, and providing them with a gift.

Surprising people is challenging during a pandemic, but we’ve adapted by doing surprises in Zoom calls, allowing for social distancing.

Our first Zoom surprise is for Lucy Nelson of Pleasant Grove. Lucy recently bought what she thought was a good used car from a private seller. She quickly discovered the car was in need of serious, expensive repairs.

Lucy’s aunt, Sandy Shepherd, nominated her for the Dream Team and soon they were on a Zoom call with what Lucy thought was a mechanic, only to learn it was FOX 13's Big Budah.

Watch the video to see what happened.

If you know someone who could use a visit from the Dream Team, fill out the nomination form here. Tell us the story of the person you are nominating, as it might be told on TV, and suggest a gift that could make a difference in their life.
