TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — A shelter in place protocol that was activated at Salt Lake Community College's Redwood Campus in Taylorsville Wednesday afternoon has been lifted.
The shelter in place request came in a tweet from SLCC Public Safety.
"The campus is safe and has been searched and secured by law enforcement. You may continue your activities freely. Thank you for your quick response and support," a tweet from SLCC Public Safety said.
Students, faculty and staff were asked to shelter in place as police searched the area for two suspects in an armed robbery.
"We have cleared our search but the investigation is [ongoing]," a tweet from Unified Police said.
Police said the armed robbery suspects are two white males in their twenties.
