Chad Daybell appeared in District Court Friday for his arraignment and has pleaded not guilty to his charges. The trial will start on January 11, 2021, and end on January 29, 2021. The pretrial conference is set for December 10 at 10:30 a.m.

He is charged with two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence and two felony counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. If convicted of all charges, Daybell will face up to 20 years in prison and up to a $40,000 fine.

Daybell is married to Lori Vallow, the mother of Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The bodies of the children were found in Daybell's backyard on June 9.

Lori Vallow's arraignment is scheduled for September 9. She waived her preliminary hearing earlier this month.
