253 new cases of COVID-19, no new deaths reported in Utah Monday

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Dept. of Health reported 253 new cases of COVID-19 Monday and no new deaths, so that total remains at 407.

There have now been 52,107 positive cases in the state.

There were 4,348 new tests reported since Sunday, bringing the total number of people tested in Utah to 659,855.

The rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 388 per day and the rolling seven-day average for percent of positive laboratory tests is 8.9 percent.

The number of people currently hospitalized with COVID-19 increased by nine to 125.
