The makers of Crocs is looking to help out healthcare workers who are on the front lines battling the coronavirus by giving away free shoes.

The company, which launched the program "A Free Pair for Healthcare" on Wednesday, looks to donate 10,000 Crocs a day to those who work in the medical field.

“The healthcare industry has always embraced Crocs, but our mantra of ‘be comfortable in your own shoes’ applies now more than ever, and we want to do more to help our nation’s heroes,” said Crocs President and CEO Andrew Rees, in a statement posted on their website. “We only have one ask: Share the word to all those in healthcare and please be mindful to allow those who need these most to place their requests. This is the least we can do for those working incredibly hard to defeat this virus.”

Currently, over 400,000 people are in line for free shoes.
