The Utah Department of Health has released Sunday’s updated COVID-19 numbers across the state.
There are now 8,392 lab-confirmed cases, which is an increase of 132 since Saturday.
3,364 new tests have been given, bringing the statewide total to 194,443. The positive test rate is approximately 4.3%
688 people have been hospitalized in connection to COVID-19 since March. Currently, there are 96 positive COVID-19 patients hospitalized
No new deaths were reported, keeping the statewide total at 97.
5,081 cases are considered recovered, which is approximately 60% of those who have tested positive.
The Utah Department of Health is not expected to hold a press conference on these updated numbers.
