14 new COVID-19 deaths in Saturday's case count from UDOH

New Cases
3,395 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 173,979.

Testing
16,270 new tests have been reported since Friday's case count. 1,315,034 people have now been tested for COVID-19 in Utah.
The rolling seven-day average for positive cases is now 3,229 per day, or approximately 23,7% of those tested.

Hospitalizations
551 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 7,458 people in Utah hospitalized in connection to the virus since March.

Deaths
14 new deaths have been reported, bringing the statewide number of deaths to 787. The newly reported deaths include:

  • Female, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Female, between 25-44, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Female, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Male, older than 85, Weber County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, older than 85, Utah County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Male, between 65-84, Wasatch County resident, long-term care facility resident
  • Male, between 65-84, Emery County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Weber County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 45-64, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
