Health Dept.: 1,484 more COVID-19 cases in Utah; four additional deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health's COVID-19 report for Monday shows an increase of 1,484 confirmed cases—bringing the state's total to 307,483—and four additional deaths.

So far, 1,831,122 people in Utah have been reported tested for the disease. The state's rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 3,118 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 30.5.

A total of 103,547 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.

554 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

1,396 have died of COVID-19 in Utah. The four deaths announced Monday are:

  • male, between 65-84, Beaver County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • male, between 45-64, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • female, between 45-64, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • female, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
