Health Dept: 295 new COVID-19 cases, four new deaths

The Utah Department of Health reports there are 295 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the state's total to 14,608 as of Monday.

There have been 272,938 total reported COVID-19 tests in Utah, and about 5.4 percent of those tests were positive. An estimated 8,380 people in Utah have recovered from COVID-19.

1,041 people in Utah have been hospitalized due to COVID-19. Of those, 137 people remain hospitalized.

143 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The four latest deaths reported are all men, two of them between 18-60 and two between 60 and 85.
