SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health’s COVID-19 report for Saturday shows 376 new positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 43,751.

No new deaths were reported, keeping the total number of deaths due to the novel coronavirus at 335.

7,255 people were tested for the virus, bringing the testing total to 566,355. The 7-day average percentage for positive lab tests is 9.3%, averaging in 426 positive tests per day.

There are currently 195 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19. That is out of a total of 2,604 hospitalizations since the beginning of the outbreak here in Utah.

33,115 people have recovered from the virus.
