One more death and 546 new cases of COVID-19 in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — One more death and 546 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday by the Utah Dept. of Health.

There have now been 216 deaths in Utah.

The most recent death is a female between the ages of 25-44 from Weber County. She had been a long-term care facility resident

There have now been 30,030 positive cases in Utah and the rolling 7-day average for positive tests is 656 per day. The percentage of positive tests over the last seven days is 10.1 percent.

There are 207 people currently hospitalized in Utah with COVID-19.

17,728 of cases in Utah are considered "recovered.” A case with a diagnosis date of more than three weeks ago, who has not passed away, is considered recovered by the health department.
