ROY, Utah — A positive COVID test at a Weber County school has forced 100 students into quarantine, a district spokesperson announced Thursday.

The students at Sand Ridge Junior High in Roy will now switch to online learning after contact tracing linked them to the student who tested positive.

According to Weber School District protocols, the students will need to quarantine for 14 days before they will be allowed to return to in-person classes.
