The Utah Dept. of Health reported three new COVID-19 deaths Monday, bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 124.
256 new cases of the disease caused by the coronavirus were also reported. That is a 2.1-percent increase from Sunday and the total number of Utah cases is 12,322.
During the seven days between June 2-8, there were 2,120 new cases reported for an average of 303 per day.
Lab tests increased by 4,948 since Sunday. There have now been 242,899 Utahns tested and the overall positive rate is 5.1-percent.
During the seven days between June 2-8, the percentage of positive results was at 10-percent.
18 new hospitalization were required over the past 24 hours.
