UDOH reports 433 new COVID-19 cases, two new deaths

The Utah Department of Health has released Saturday's COVID-19 report.

New Cases
433 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 54,272.

Tests Conducted
4,249 new tests have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 683,965.
The rolling seven-day average for new cases is 406 per day, or approximately 9.4% of those tested.

Recoveries
45,896 cases are considered recovered, having tested positive for the virus three weeks ago and not passing away as a result of it.

Hospitalizations
120 people are currently hospitalized. 3,188 people have been hospitalized with the virus since March.

Deaths
Two new deaths have been reported and a previously reported death was removed after further investigation, bringing the statewide total deaths to 420.
The newly reported deaths are:

  • Male, between 45-64, San Juan County resident, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
