ST. ANTHONY, Idaho — Lori Vallow Daybell has been named a person of interest in the death of her third husband, FOX News reports.

Police in Phoenix are reviewing an investigation of the April 2018 death of Joseph Ryan, Vallow Daybell's former husband and father of Tylee Ryan, whose remains were uncovered along with her brother Joshua "JJ" Ryan's in Chad Daybell's Salem, Idaho backyard in June. Vallow Daybell and Ryan divorced 14 years before Ryan's death.

"The inquiry comes days after several news outlets published an audio recording released by Ryan's sister, Annie Cushing. In it, Cushing claimed Vallow is heard talking about wanting to kill Ryan," the report said.

Cushing accused Vallow Daybell of telling friends she considered murdering Ryan over the custody battle she and Ryan fought for Tylee.

"He was constantly trying to get custody of my 3-year-old daughter,” Vallow allegedly said in the recording. “If he comes against you once, if he comes against you twice, if he comes against you three times then you can kill him, it says it in the scriptures.”

Meanwhile, Lori and her current husband, Chad Daybell, now have an official trial date for the felony charges they're facing in connection with the disappearance and deaths of JJ and Tylee.

Last month, an Idaho judge ruled Chad and Lori will face trial together, rather than have separate trials. Prosecutors say the couple conspired to hide or destroy JJ and Tylee's bodies.

The Daybells were facing separate trials to be held in early 2021, but the now-joined trial is scheduled to begin on July 21, East Idaho News reports.
