GOLDEN, Colo. — A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck northern Utah Thursday night.
The earthquake happened at 9:30 p.m. and was located about 13 miles southwest of the town on Corrine in Box Elder County, according to National Earthquake Information Center operated by the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colorado.
It was at a depth of 5 km
An earthquake of this magnitude is the smallest that can be felt by people, but rarely causes any damage.
