More donations, less money: The Utah Democratic dilemma playing out in the race for governor

SALT LAKE CITY — Democratic candidate for Governor of Utah Chris Peterson has a lot more donations to his general election campaign than Republican candidate Spencer Cox.

Spencer Cox, however, has a lot more money.

Peterson’s 684 donations add up to 58,142 dollars raised between June 19^th and September 15^th.

Cox raised 899,770 dollars from 509 donations between June 19^th and September 25^th (his filing was more up-to-date as of this report).
