More donations, less money: The Utah Democratic dilemma playing out in the race for governor

SALT LAKE CITY — Democratic candidate for Governor of Utah Chris Peterson has a lot more donations to his general election campaign than Republican candidate Spencer Cox.

Spencer Cox, however, has a lot more money.

Peterson’s 684 donations add up to 58,142 dollars raised between June 19th and September 15th.

Cox raised 899,770 dollars from 509 donations between June 19th and September 25th (his filing was more up-to-date as of this report).
