SALT LAKE CITY — A pair of minor earthquakes rattled parts of southern Utah Tuesday morning.
The first, a magnitude 3.8, hit around 2:45 a.m. and was centered about six miles from Pine Valley and about 38 miles from Hurricane.
Another quake, magnitude 2.8, hit in almost the same area around 5:30 a.m.
Earthquakes of that magnitude can be felt and can cause some minor damage.
