Several schools remain closed Thursday due to power outages

SALT LAKE CITY — Several schools in a few of northern Utah's school districts are still closed after this week's down slope wind event caused a massive power outage affecting tens of thousands of Rocky Mountain Power customers.

Davis School District Closures

  • Centerville Elementary School
  • Centerville Jr. High School

Granite School District Closures

  • Connections High School
  • Cottonwood Elementary School
  • Crestview Elementary School
  • Eastwood Elementary School
  • Twin Peaks Elementary School
  • Upland Terrace Elementary School
  • Wasatch Jr. High School

Ogden School District Closures

  • Highland Junior High School
  • Mount Ogden Junior High School

Salt Lake City School District
All classes canceled for the day.

Weber School District Closures

  • Burch Creek Elementary School
  • Canyon View High School
  • H. Guy Child Elementary School
  • Roosevelt Elementary School
  • Washington Terrrace Elementary School

Weber School District's South Jr. High has a shortened schedule and Bonneville High School has virtual classes Thursday.
