SANDY, Utah — Two men were found dead of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds at a home in Sandy late Tuesday.
Detectives say the shooting was reported to police around 10:30 p.m. in a quiet neighborhood just east of the River Oaks Golf Course.
Officials told FOX 13 both victims took their own lives.
They said it appears a 17 year old male was the first victim and that in response to that, a 50 year old man then took his own life.
Police said this is sad and tragic and they want to remind everyone that resources are available if you or someone you know finds yourself in a crisis situation like this.
