As temperatures continue to climb today, avalanche warnings also rise.

The Utah Avalanche Center has forecasted a moderate avalanche danger in areas, especially in elevated terrain.

Warmer temperatures in the mountains could lead to natural wet loose avalanches and cornice falls during the day.

People can also trigger wet avalanches on steep slopes, mostly in areas with shallow melt-softened snow.

A wet loose avalanche was observed in Logan Canyon on Friday.
