COLUMBUS, Ohio — If two politicians get their way, every June 14 in Ohio will be the day to celebrate former President Donald Trump.

Republican Reps. Reggie Stoltzfus and Jon Cross plan on introducing a bill to recognize "President Donald J. Trump Day" in The Buckeye State.

The Ohio Capital Journal reports the two lawmakers emailed a request for the bill on Friday.

While June 14 is already viewed as Flag Day in the U.S., Stoltzfus and Cross said adding Trump to the holiday would “recognize the accomplishments of his administration, and that the Ohio House believes it is imperative we set aside a day to celebrate one of the greatest presidents in American history.”
