WEST JORDAN, Utah — Amazon will have more than 1,500 job openings at its new fulfillment center in West Jordan.

The fulfillment center, at 6802 W Old Bingham Highway, opened a month ago and already employs about 800 people, but hundreds of new opportunities will soon be available there.

"These are very unprecedented times for all of us, and so, if you were laid off because of COVID, or if you're on furlough, or if you're just looking for a new job, we're here. We'd love for people to come join our team," said Amazon spokeswoman Anne Laughlin. "Here in our fulfillment network, across our operations, just last year we promoted 20,000 hourly employees. So we are very dedicated, very committed, to having employees grow their careers here at Amazon."

Starting pay is $15/hour. In addition to permanent positions, the company is also hiring for season work. Click here to see Amazon's current job listings.
