October is National Book Month, a great time to curl up with a good book!

Melissa Dalton Martinez, Host and Book Reviewer for The Book Break, joined us with reading recommendations in three different categories.

Her first recommendation is a book for anyone who's ever lost a spouse, been through a divorce, or been in a situation where they needed to blend families. The book is "Widowed and Moving Forward: Insights on Managing Grief, Dating, & Blending Families," by Justin T. Eller & Jennifer M. Eller.

The next book is for Fantasy book lovers of all ages. It's a book starring two modern day middle-school kids who end up in Wonderland and find themselves trying to save the famous world. The book is "The Lost Wonderland Diaries," by J. Scott Savage.

The final book recommendation is for those who want to better understand America's Health Care system, and that are interested in a behind the scenes peak from a doctor to what happens in hospitals and other medical offices when treatment for a patient is being decided. The book is "The Purple World: Healing the Harm in American Health Care," by Dr. Joseph Q. Jarvis who is an MD that graduated from the University of Utah, and is a former public government health official.

The Book Break will be giving away one copy of each of these books for free on thebookbreak.com. You can choose between a digital copy or a physical copy. Winners will be chosen and notified by Friday, October 9, 2020.

Go to thebookbreak.com to enter to win the contest and to learn more about each of these books. And all of these books are available to purchase online.
