The holidays bring some of the happiest memories of the year but with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, we won't be together as much with our friends and families.

We invited Pam Swartzentruber, Senior Director of Global Product Marketing at Young Living, on the show to tell us how essential oils can make our celebrations special even with social distancing.

Pam says essential oils do a great job of eliciting memories of events or people that are special to us. She shared three options that can make your home remind you of your most cherished memories while also creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere:

• Vanilla Oleoresin: Young Living's brand new Vanilla will help melt away your worries with its complex, slightly sweet and warm, comforting aroma. One of the most popular and even more recognizable scents for the holidays, vanilla's gentle welcoming characteristics are sure to cast away your worries.

• Pine: For those longing for the cabin or forest walks, Young Living's Pine essential oil provides a fresh, woodsy aroma that is refreshing and empowering. Also great to bring home a fresh tree scent as we prepare for Christmas. Bring home the memories of family hikes and hunting for the best Christmas Tree.

• Christmas Spirit: Pam says it's never too early for Christmas. And Young Living's Christmas Spirit blend is her favorite to get her in the mood for the holidays. It combines Orange, Cinnamon Bark, and Spruce to create a warm, spicy, and sweet Christmas essential oil blend that's sure to be loved by everyone in the family.

One very popular way to use these essential oils is in a diffuser and Young Living has a new Haven Ceramic Diffuser to help add that fresh pop of natural fragrance to your home. Carefully crafted out of natural porcelain ceramic, this enchanting, petite diffuser has a mid-century modern feel that will accentuate any holiday decor. It's designed to be an accent or centerpiece with its sophisticated and modern style that creates an ambiance to uplift and soothe the heart and soul. Paired with the holiday diffuser blend recipes, this diffuser and aromas will be the talk of any holiday party.

Pam also shared another way she likes to use essential oils. She says she will often add a couple of drops to her wrist and rub them in to carry the scents with her throughout the day.
