Fear Factory opens for the season with enhanced safety guidelines

The Fear Factory is Salt Lake City's only truly haunted attraction.

It's opening for the 2020 season on Friday, September 18, 2020 with enhanced safety guidelines to ensure the health and well being of guests and staff.

You'll notice a few changes, including timed ticketing. Instead of just showing up and buying a ticket, attendees will be required to purchase tickets for a specific date and time. This will enable them to space people out more effectively and socially distance attendees.

There will be mandatory social distancing of 8-10 feet while waiting in outdoor lines.

Additional hand sanitizing stations will be up throughout the haunt. And, there will be staff dedicated to regularly disinfect high touch surfaces such as hand rails and restrooms.

All Fear Factory staff and customers will have to wear masks. And, with Fear Factory they've made that part of the experience. The actors all have masks that are PPE, but pretty scary too. And, if you see one you love, you can buy some of them too.
