School is incredibly uncertain and stressful for families right now and the pandemic could have life-long effects on education especially for our youngest learners.
Thankfully, children entering kindergarten in 2021 have an option to prepare at home with the Waterford Upstart program and thanks to state funding…it costs families nothing!
The Program gives parents the tools they need to become their child's first teacher. Your child will complete 15 minutes a day 5 days a week. Parents get a coach to help them through the process and push notifications with fun ideas to do offline that address what your child is learning and social and emotional conversations you can have with your child.
-Since this is done online Waterford.org will provide a computer and internet to families that qualify at no cost because of their partnership with the Utah State Legislature that helps provide this program to families.
If your 5-year-old will be entering kindergarten in fall of 2021, now is the time to get registered for the Waterford Upstart program so they're ready for that first year of school.
Registration for Waterford Upstart wraps up on November 20th.
