Eight months ago Mat Shaw and his daughter Savanna Shaw sat at their kitchen table in Kaysville and belted out "The Prayer", a duet made famous by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion.
At the time, they didn't think the video of that performance would reach beyond their close friends in family. In fact, if they had known how big it would become, they probably wouldn't have done it in the first place.
But to their surprise the numbers kept rising. To date that YouTube video has more than 7.6 million views.
The Shaws quickly caught the attention of national TV shows and now after months of several duets, the duo has released their first album. "Picture This" is available to purchase on most streaming platforms.
While putting together their album, Mat and Savanna knew they couldn't leave out "The Prayer". But, there are 12 other songs on the album as well, which include fan requests and songs they love.
