With the end of winter comes National Chili Day, where we get to celebrate this hearty dish one last time before warm weather comes! Two locals who competed in the Firefighter Chili Cook-off came on to share their winning recipe. From Unified Fire Authority - and also a married couple - Rob Marriott is a firefighter and Heavy Rescue Specialist, and Meisha Marriott works in the medical division (she manages state medical certifications for all 500+ EMTs and Paramedics at UFA).
They showcased their vegetarian chili and even though they don't want to give away their winning recipe, you can still use theirs as inspiration for your own National Chili Day celebration.
