Regence and University of Utah Want You to Get Fit For Fall

SALT LAKE CITY — The cooler fall weather is just around the corner, that’s a great time to mix up your exercise routine or get one started! Movement supports physical and mental health. It’s also a great way to socialize with family and friends and get outside in nature.

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah and the University of Utah's strong partnership has come together yet again to make it easy for folks to get moving this autumn.

Take part in their Be Well Utah - Walk, Run, and Roll virtual fitness activities.

Whether you are walking, running or rolling via bike or wheelchair, Regence and the University of Utah want you to get out and get healthy.

Be Well Utah – Walk, Run or Roll Challenge Info:

It takes place between September 19 - October 20. Winners will be announced on a Facebook Live on Friday October 22.

Walk, Run or Roll features multiple options to pick-your-level.

Pick-your-fitness-challenge. Ranging from a 1-mile walk all the way up to a 50-mile bike ride.

You can do these challenges solo or with friends and family.

There are also training plans in English and Spanish.

So, if you’re looking for a great workout regiment or an extra boost in motivation in the upcoming weeks, sign up for a challenge! Complete and submit your challenge on the Walk, Run & Roll website by October 20 and you will be entered to win some pretty cool prizes including athletic apparel and tickets to some of Utah’s National Parks.
