Smith's Chef Jeff Jackson joined us with a recipe for Detroit Style Pan Pizza.

Ingredients
12 in. seasoned cast iron skillet
1 tbsp. canola oil
1 lb. prepared pizza dough ball
2 c. shredded Muenster cheese
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp. Italian seasoning, divided
Pepperoni slices
½ c. pizza sauce

Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 500. Brush the cast iron skillet with the oil. On a lightly floured surface, stretch the dough roughly to the size of the pan. Transfer the dough to the pan and stretch it to fit the pan. Pierce the dough with a fork and sprinkle on ½ of the Italian seasoning.
2. Place the skillet on the stove and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes or until the dough slightly puffs up.
3. Remove the pan from the heat and cover the dough with pepperoni slices and then both cheeses. Make sure to cover the entire pizza all the way to the edges. Next, sprinkle on the rest of the Italian seasoning and then pour on the sauce. Last, put another layer of pepperoni and place in the oven on the bottom rack and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it rest like 5 minutes if you can. Slice into 4 wedges and enjoy.
