The Mill at SLCC is launching its first Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in rural Utah!

The pandemic has not offered many gifts, but this truly is one of them. The program is going online for the first time ever, meaning small business owners looking to grow, but don't have access to the education, resources or capital can take part.

The GS10KSB is a 15-week intensive training program and business owners graduate with an executable growth plan they can implement immediately, having identified specific opportunities for growing their revenues.

Right now they are actively recruiting small business owners in rural parts of the state to take advantage of this first in class training opportunity, which is 100 percent scholarship based to all who are accepted.

30-40 business owners will start the rural cohort in May of 2021 and applications are being accepted now through the end of January, 2021.

Subjects include financial statements, marketing, leadership, negotiations, operations and processes, being bankable among other pertinent topics.

Goldman Sachs Foundation started the 10,000 Small Businesses program 10 years ago and it just surpassed 10,000 small business owners trained across the country.
