Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is celebrating Shark Week August 9 through August 16, 2020 with JAW-some activities.
Shark Week is a week long celebration during Discovery Channel's Shark Week Programming.
Brent Beardley, with Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, says it's an opportunity for people of all ages to learn all about sharks and all the different species of sharks.
Beardsley says you can also learn interesting facts about sharks, like the fact that a shark's skin is actually made of "teeth". He says the tough scales give it extra protection and the pattern creates whirlpools and keeps bacteria away and sharks clean.
