Utah's Spring weather can give you sun or snow; here's how to be prepared driving

Springtime in Utah can bring snow one day and shine the next. So Joshua R. Dunyon, attorney with the Utah Advocates, shared the following tips for staying safe.

Remember to be cautious at all times. During inclement weather that means giving lots of room to the car in front of you and always be prepared for ice and hydroplaning.

As the weather warms up and more people, specifically children, come out to play... always know your surroundings and keep your eyes on the road. You should also spring clean (make sure cargo in the back of a truck or trailer is secure).

Always wear a seatbelt and avoid distractions like electronic devices behind the wheel. Never, ever drive under the influence.

Unfortunately serious accidents do take place; the Advocates are ready to help you when it happens.
