Expert Mindset Coach, Bestselling Author and Speaker Amberly Lago says instead of setting lofty New Year's resolutions, you may want to consider setting intentions for the day instead.

She suggests you start with an intention around a word, that can be your guiding force for 2021.

Amberly shared her word for this year, which is quality. Last year, Amberly said her word was
resilience.

Once you have your word these three intentions for the day will help you.

1. Start your day by saying a prayer. Whether you believe in God, the universe or a spirit.
2. Keep a journal. Write down your intentions and then say it out loud.
3. Be intentional with your body. Move your body and improve your mood.
