A series of storms moving in to Utah

SALT LAKE CITY — An umbrella will come in handy today!

Another storm is moving in, but initially it will be warm enough for rain in the valleys with most snow expected above 7,000 feet. The exception will be the Uinta Basin and Castle Country, where it's cold enough for snow to fall today.

It'll get cold enough tonight for rain to mix with snow in the valleys, although little accumulation is expected until tomorrow. By then, we'll be on the tail end of the storm so accumulations in the valleys will likely be around an inch. Heavy snow will fall in the mountains, with a couple feet possible by Thursday morning!
